Rule #1 for a drapery rod in my book: Do not select it merely to draw attention to the window or the drapes. In fact, don’t even call it a drapery rod. It’s window hardware because it can do more. It can bring out the decor in the room and relate back to the architecture, style of the furniture and fabrics as well as the type of drapery.
